Again, total reliance on strangers to be decent human beings. Apple does not provide a kiosk for the purpose of making a reservation or purchase of apple products while your right there at their store. If you have a broken phone, and are unable to make calls or use the screen, there is no other option but to seek help from complete strangers with a request to use their device to make a reservation for a spot in the apple line to be seen by an apple representative or drive to a computer hub or anywhere that you can access a device with internet in order to make your reservation. In order to be seen you first have to schedule a reservation. I received the worst customer service I didn’t believe possible yesterday (March 9, 2021) at the Woodlands TX apple store. I guess the corporate sole is controlled by China. Really sad to see what has happened to Apple at a retail level. I own 10 Apple devices and have been customers since about 1990. Tim Cook you need to take a hard look at yourself and your oligopoly. No wonder the stock lagged others in its category.

Great business model! IMO Apple has just gotten too full of itself. They put everything on the customer and do as little as they can for the customer. Then I would have to bring the bad device back an exchange it, In other words, endure more bad service and wasted time. They agreed to provide a new one but said I would not receive for 5-7 business days.

All I wanted was to exchange a bad Apple TV box purchased earlier this year.
It was over crowded and many people walked out in disgust. They had everyone waiting for a genius to sit on little uncomfortable wooden blocks. Even though I had a genius bar appointment, I waited an hour even though others were walking in and getting help without appointments.
